Our award winning ancient former Charentaise farmhouses and barns were built from local fossil bearing chalkstone. They have been lovingly restored and modernised yet retain all their original French character with exposed oak beams etc. They provide delightful holiday gites next to the resident owner's home.

Situated in the midst of glorious countryside we are within easy reach of the local towns and facilities by car, bicycle or on foot. The market town of Chalais is 6km distant and has a lively Monday morning market.

Close by are several riverside leisure parks with sandy beaches, tennis courts, fishing, canoeing, children's play parks and restaurants etc.
